Rich Habits Club ("Rich Habits," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Rich Habits website at www.richhabits.club and the Rich Habits iOS application (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
- Habit data. The realms, dreams, goals, habits, and habit logs you create as part of using the Service.
- Communications. Any messages you send to our support email.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data. Basic, aggregated information about how you interact with the Service (pages visited, features used, approximate timestamps) so we can improve the product.
- Device data. Device type, operating system, and app version, used for diagnostics and compatibility.
- Cookies and local storage. Used to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To send transactional and product emails — welcome messages, weekly digests, monthly reports, streak milestones, and re-engagement nudges. You can opt out of non-essential email from your account settings.
- To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
Data retention
We keep your account information and habit data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we immediately and permanently delete your personal data from our systems, except where we are required to retain it for legal or security reasons.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing us at team@richhabits.club. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to object to or restrict processing of your information.
Children's privacy
Rich Habits is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
International users
Rich Habits is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via the Service. Continued use of Rich Habits after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
